Yellowtail Cup 2011

The Griffith Kart Club is once again hosting the inaugural Yellowtail Cup Kart Race, proudly sponsored by Casella Wines. The race is set down for the 30th April and 1st May 2011, at the Griffith Kart Track, Whites Rd, Tharbogang NSW.

If you haven’t raced this event in the past, then it’s well worth the journey to come and race in Country NSW’s Biggest Event of 2011. We have a total of $14,000 in prize money that has been generously donated by sponsors, and every single class will be racing for $1000 prize money. We are hoping to attract full fields and some great quality racing.

The Griffith Kart Track is in central NSW, 6 hours from Sydney and 5 Hours from Melbourne. We have a great track and great facilities. The track also has lighting, which will be used during the event. Racing will be from 2pm till 9pm on the Saturday night, and from 9am to 1pm on the Sunday morning. Camping is also available at the track over the weekend.

Format of Racing

Qualifying, 2 Heats, Pre-Final, Final. (Final only counts)

Entry Fee

 $100 Seniors, $80 Juniors - $20 off for subsequent entries from the same driver.

Practice

The track will be open for practice on the Friday of the race meeting from mid-day and will continue under lights until 8:30pm
